The commemoration of the International Day of South-South Cooperation and the 2nd anniversary of the OACPS Centre in Malabo, intended to enhance the visibility of the OACPS in general and its Malabo Centre in particular.
The Chairman of the OACPS Committee of Ambassadors, HE Daniel Emery Dede, and the Secretary General of the OACPS, H.E. Georges Rebelo Pinto CHIKOTI, carried out a working mission to the OACPS Centre for SST to assess the state of installation of the Centre and meet with the authorities of the host Country to discuss the strengthening of the SST Cooperation and the state of the OACPS in general.
The OACPS Information Centre on South-South and Triangular Cooperation (OACPS- SSTC), organized on September 3, 2021, in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, its first symposium on the theme: "Expanded partnership as a means to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals".
The Operationalisation of the OACPS Centre for South-South Cooperation became effective in September 2020 with the appointment of the first Director of the Centre Mr. Patrice Niyongabo.
